NYCM is Now Offering Service Line Coverage
Did you know that you're responsible for repairing damaged underground piping and wiring on your property? Many have accidentally assumed that this is the responsibility of either their utility companies or the town or city where they live, only to later learn that they must cover the repairs or replacement cost. This painful mistake gets even worse when a homeowner's insurance policy denies their claim due to lack of coverage for service lines. Don't let this happen to you.
New York Central Mutual Insurance is now offering Service Line Coverage for $30/year and with a $500 deductible. This homeowners policy endorsement covers service line repairs and the cost to repair damage to outdoor property as a result of the repairs, such as driveways, lawns, or landscaping. It also extends your loss of use coverage to cover expenses if your home becomes uninhabitable until the repairs are complete.
